Well, several of us Dallas NSX'ers were going to see a special sneak preview
of the fast and the furious, but since they oversold the theater, we headed over
to Bob's open house.

Here's me standing next to my new........errr.........I mean Adrian Carmack's (the guy who wrote Doom and a bunch of other computer games) Ferrari F50.

But wait, this is not just an ordinary "garden variety" F50, this one has over 800HP! Thanks to the very trick Norwood twin turbo system.

This is going to be one heck of a track car when done. Full tube chassis. Big Twin Turbo V8 mated to a Hewland sequential transaxle. I'd love to bring this to the next DE event at TWS!!! ;)

I thought this was interesting....a twin turbo'ed testarossa motor fitted in a 512 BBI Berlinetta Boxer

Now, this was the coolest thing in the whole shop. The wooden engine block on the left was the model that they used to make this totally new-custom CNC'ed motor! That's right! They made their own motor!!!! This is a Quad-Cam V-12 using Chevy big block pistons! Anybody care to calculate the displacement??? One of the people there (I think it was Bob) said that this is the "small one" and "only" makes 1,200 HP! The "big" one makes 1,500 HP! I wish Mark J's billet aluminum guy could make me a 5.0l VTEC motor for my NSX!!!! Please!!!! :)
